YMCA Youth Programs Partnership, 2013-2018
During our time in New York, BalletNext entered into a unique partnership with the Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA with the goal of promoting arts, fitness, and education to young people within the community.
Michele and company dancers taught workshops during the Y's Summer Creative Camps and at after school programs through the fall, in a fulfilling partnership that lasted five years. We also collaborated on an evening of dance and celebration called YNEXT - an annual gala benefit to help support youth programs such as this.
Now based in Utah, we are excited for opportunities to engage with local community programs in Park City and beyond. Please connect with us if you have ideas for programs we could engage with or would like to work with us.
